Qualifications
- An ideal candidate applying to be on the DoD’s financial team would possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, management, or a related degree field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to public service
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- US citizenship, suitability for federal service, and ability to obtain a security clearance
- Registered for Selective Service (for males born after Dec 31, 1959)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD FM Certification (within first 2 years of starting service)
