Lisa Lax

Lisa Lax, Vice President Contracts & Acquisition Management Office, began her 41 years acquisition career as a Navy Contract Specialist and has been with GDIT for 27 years.  Lax is an acquisition professional and trusted advisor to public corporation executive management with extensive experience in federal procurement, contract/subcontract management, complex contracting transactions, dispute resolution, and compliance, as both a commercial and federal Government representative. She possesses a breadth of professional experience in federal acquisition regulation and policy, information technology, national security, complex contractual and business issues, and resolution of complex contracts disputes.

Lax holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Psychology from LaSalle University and a Master in Business Administration from Temple University.  While working at what is now NAVSUP Weapons System Support, she was DAWIA Level III Certified, held an unlimited warrant as a Contracting Officer and completed the NAVSUP Senior Leadership Program.
