Biography

Dr. Sean Spence is an adjunct professor in the Costello College of Business at George Mason University with previous experience at the University of Maryland and Rice University. His passion for finance began while serving as CEO of the Student-Run Saber Fund during his time at the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business. This experience led him to establish his own successful private equity fund, which he continues to manage today.

Dr. Spence also excels as a Business Consultant specializing in Strategy and Corporate Finance, having worked with top firms like Deloitte Consulting and Booz Allen Hamilton. Dr. Spence was also appointed to the Cherry Hill Development Authority where he is serving a 4-year term as a board member with responsibilities of supporting the governance of a nearly ½ Billion Dollar Capital Infrastructure Development Program: Prince William County, Virginia: Boards (granicus.com)

A retired Army reserve officer, Dr. Spence's military service includes multiple overseas assignments in Iraq, Kosovo, Korea, Kuwait and Honduras. He proudly served as a Commander, a Task Force Plans Officer and a Senior Instructor.
