The Alpha Challenge is SMIF’s signature stock pitch competition, offering an excellent opportunity for students to showcase their analytical skills and compete for cash prizes. The event will take place on November 1, 2024, from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Merten Hall, Room 1201. The Registration deadline is October 6, 2024.

The Office of Student Creative Activities and Research (OSCAR) is holding a seminar series on Zoom this fall with seminars covering topics of interest to students who want to do a research or creative project. OSCAR will also be holding an Undergraduate Research Scholars Program information session on Wed, October 2 from 5-6 to discuss the program and application process.

The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) Foundation is now accepting applications for the 2025-2026 Ritchie-Jennings Memorial Scholarship. Eligible students must be majoring in accounting, business administration, finance, criminal justice, or a related field, and be enrolled at an accredited four-year college or university through the 2025-2026 academic year. Deadline to apply: February 7, 2025.
